Event Cancellation Policy
Exceptions to the cancellation policy are granted in the case of a death in the immediate family. No exemption or refund for business reasons or for any other reason not explicitly mentioned in this policy.
All cancellations or changes may be made by using your registration confirmation link and changing or cancelling your registration online. For questions, please contact askevents@ypo.org.
If you cancel from the event within 48 hours of your registration date and time, YPO will issue a full refund if the registrant contacts askevents@ypo.org. After this time, you will be subject to the cancellation policy appropriate on that day. If there is another registrant on the waiting list who pays and replaces the cancelling registrant, all monies will be refunded to the cancelling registrant less the processing fee. If no waiting list exists, the cancelling registrant may sell or give his/her space to any other member in good standing. Any sale/transfer to another member must be handled directly by the cancelling member, and communication made to askevents@ypo.org regarding the transfer. Once a registrant has cancelled the registration, the space cannot be sold/transferred. A waiting list is established when the event reaches its registration goals. Prior to this time, the cancellation schedule and penalty are in effect. Cancellation policies and penalties on all YPO Events are strictly enforced.
Transfers from one event to another are considered cancellations of the current event and are subject to the official cancellation schedule for that event.
